The Trumbull Soars As One Feather Mural Community Art Project

The Trumbull Soars As One Community Art Project encourages Connecticut residents to paint a feather that will be combined to create a colorful mural. The mural resembles a bird with outstretched wings to represent the following vision: “A bird’s feather is beautiful on its own. But, when feathers come together to form wings, they become an unstoppable force in the sky. Here, in Trumbull, we are all individually beautiful through our personalities and kindness. But, only together, do we have the power to soar as one.”

This project has been made possible with the help of the Trumbull Nature and Arts Center, and the StudyBug Project.

The image to the right is what the project will look like when it is finished. So far, over 120 feathers have been painted at the Trumbull Arts Festival and at other Trumbull Nature and Arts Center events.

There will be two murals. One will be displayed at the Trumbull Nature and Arts Center and the other at the Trumbull Library. To be displayed in Spring 2022.
